A great way for the novice angler to have a safe, hands-on learning experience.

Targeted to youth 6-15 years old.

Parental supervision is required for participants under 10.

Youth must be accompanied or the parent within 100 yards with full visibility.

4 hours  (6:15am-10:30am) --> $200 for 1 person (ask Matt about group rates)

This is a 4-hour trip on the beach focused on teaching what Matt has learned over many years to others. Based on age and interest level, Matt will share safety tips, fishing knots, and basic techniques. Participants will be hands-on, casting and reeling in the fish.  He will meet you on the beach, and set up with everything needed to have a fun, safe, and successful fishing experience. We recommend participants wear a t-shirt or sun shirt and bring a hat and sunglasses. Youth will be responsible for applying their own sunscreen if a parent is not present.

Fishing License:

A South Carolina Fishing license is required for participants 16 and older. You may purchase a license here (Link)

Waiver/Release Form:

All participants complete a waiver/release form. Parents complete the form for minors. One form for each participant. The excursion may not proceed without a completed form for all participants.
